It is one of the most popular sanctuaries of Maharashtra, in Yawatmal district. The region is mostly low undulating terrain separated by a wide valley. This nature reserve consists of Bears, Cheetahs, Tigers, Nilgai, Sambars, Monkeys, Jackals, Langurs, Panthers, Chital, Wolves, Hyena etc. The Forest Department of India maintains this natural habitat.
