Yeldari Dam (Parbhani – Maharashtra – India)

 Yeldari Dam is located nearly 58 kms far from the main city center of Parbhani in Maharashtra and it takes around 1 hour 40 minutes to reach by any vehicle to reach this gigantic dam.

Yeldari named village in Jintur Taluk of Parbhani district of Maharashtra is famous with the village named dam called as Yeldari Dam. Basically, this dam is a type of earth fill dam built on Purna River. The inauguration of the dam took place nearly in 1968 and currently it is completely operated under the guidance of Government of Maharashtra. Yeldari Dam is the second largest dam in entire Marathwada region. Even though the dam is renovated and developed as a big reservoir, it is also a tourist favorite spot in Parbhani district.

The best time to visit this wonderful dam is after the monsoon time and in between the months of November and March as the scenario becomes pleasant here.
